Our office and travel consultants are located at Chatswood in Sydney's northern
suburbs.
Jetabroad is led by a team of business professionals with extensive international
experience in both offline and Internet-based travel and consumer marketing.
Darin Walters - Managing Director
Darin has extensive general management experience in major Australian businesses
with a strong consumer focus. From 1995 to 2003, Darin worked at Blackmores - Australia’s
leading, natural healthcare company - in roles that included General Manager Sales
and Marketing, Managing Director and CEO. More recently, Darin was CEO Exhibition
Australia/New Zealand for the Hoyts Cinema Group.
Darin has also worked with The Boston Consulting Group and received an MBA from
Harvard Business School.

Alex Snead - Founder and Executive Director
With 27 years' experience in the international travel industry, Alex has been a
true pioneer of Internet travel booking in the Asian region. Since moving to Australia
from the United States in 1989, Alex has:
- Introduced the Amadeus global distribution system (GDS) to Australasia while working
with Telstra (Australia's leading telecommunications provider), securing Amadeus'
position as market leader
- Worked with Qantas Airways to broaden its Internet distribution, including building
an Asia-wide Internet travel business, Zuji, from concept to full implementation
- Acted as Zuji's Executive Director of Strategy and Director of Operations - going
on to lead the rollout of Zuji's business model in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan,
Australia and New Zealand.
At the age of 17, Alex founded, owned and managed his own IATA-accredited travel
agency (Main Street World Travel in San Antonio, Texas), the youngest person in
the US to achieve this.

Paul Shepanski - Director
Paul brings 18 years of international senior management experience to Jetabroad.
From 1987 to 1999, he worked as a consultant, manager and partner with The Boston
Consulting Group where his clients included some of the region's most significant
consumer businesses, including leaders in the areas of retailing, banking, telecommunications
and travel. He served as the Managing Partner of BCG's Auckland office in 1997 and
1998.
From 1999 to 2001, Paul served as Group General Manager e-Commerce for Qantas Airways.
While there, he led the comprehensive redevelopment of the airline's website and,
together with Alex Snead, initiated the Asian Internet travel business, Zuji.

Ben Chong - Director
Ben is a veteran of Australian Internet marketing, having built a number of successful
online businesses from scratch over the last eight years. These include Online Agility,
an incubator and developer of online concepts, and iMega Group, an online marketing group.
Ben has also consulted in the areas of e-commerce strategy, online marketing and customer
care for major clients such as Volvo, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Sugar Australia.
In 1994, Ben was named National Young Business Person of the Year by Young Achievement
Australia.
